It basically showed Julia Child's life during the 40's/50's in Paris, France, and how she essentially became Julia Child. Going to cooking school, working on recipe's for a cookbook for Americans and her life with her husband.While Julie during the year 2002, works as a Secretary temp and gets the idea to challenge herself to a year-long culinary adventure to cook all 524 recipes in Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Julie blogs about her trials and tribulations which eventually draws a large crowd of blog readers.
How neat is that? To go through an entire cook book in a year, and then blog about it.
One day when I have my own kitchen, I want to do that!
