{Tour of the City}

Saturday Bobby took my on  tour of Detroit. It hardly ever go and drive around Detroit. Mainly because I dont know my way around, and there's some bad part of town. So I generally just don't go, especially by myself.

Bobby took my to see the Ambassador Bridge which is the bridge to Canada. Then we went to the old Train Depot in Detroit. I hasn't been used in something like 30 years. But its a huge building, and you can even see it from Bobby's apartment.

We also took a drive to St. Clair Shores. We just drove around, and looked at all the enormous houses. We also drove by the house were Henry Ford lived with his wife. And we drove right past Lake St Clair. It was a wonderful sunny day, and the temperature was near 50.
It was fun to just drive around and see some new places!

  1. Em, That building was empty when we first moved to Detroit in about 1966. They had a place to get on a train there for a while but the building was empty and abandoned then. Nice pictures. Glad you had a good day.
    Love, Granna
